Case study · KITICON Global NetworksDigitalising a marketing agency – case study at KITICON Global Networks
The Bonn-based marketing agency KITICON Global Networks places great value on flexibility in its technical equipment. With around 15 employees and a network of freelancers, it was crucial for the company to deploy mobile devices easily and manage them centrally. With changing team sizes and a lot of remote work in particular, devices had to be quickly available, scalable and easy to administer.
Challenges before the switch
Before the switch, all devices were bought in-house and managed manually. As the agency grew, however, administrative effort increased and the overview of devices, contracts and responsibilities was increasingly lost. At the same time, budget and sustainability goals were reaching their limits – an alternative to classic hardware procurement was urgently needed.
The solution: flexible, scalable, centrally managed
To meet the new requirements, KITICON opted for a rental model with central device management. This change allowed the company to respond flexibly to team changes and adjust devices as needed. A management platform now provides an overview of all devices, contract terms and repairs – regardless of where employees are based.
Technology to match the way they work
After a detailed analysis of the requirements – particularly around creative work, high performance demands and remote flexibility – KITICON was equipped with modern hardware: MacBooks, iPhones, AirPods and matching displays. The combination of powerful hardware and mobile tariffs supports the team in the office just as much as at home.
A personal contact supported the agency throughout the implementation – from initial setup to ongoing day-to-day support. The introduction of the management platform was also guided, so devices, contracts and users can be coordinated easily at any time.
“For us this is the perfect solution to stay flexible while never losing track of our device fleet. It simplifies our working day enormously.”— Tina Kirfel, Heart of Company, KITICON Global Networks
Sustainability included
At the end of their service life the devices are professionally refurbished and returned to the usage cycle – an important contribution to greater sustainability in IT equipment. Alongside flexibility, the model therefore also supports the agency’s environmental goals.
Repairs can also be managed conveniently via the platform. If a device fails, it can be replaced straight away – without long interruptions to day-to-day business.
“In KITICON Global Networks we have a business customer from day one whom we still look after today. We are glad to continue heading into a technically flexible future together.”— Ümit Akbulut, Managing Director, Motion TM Vertriebs GmbH
